Jahreszeiten Eiszeit Wall Lamp
[Michael Topor]
Description
The Anthologie Quartett Jahreszeiten Eiszeit Wall Lamp (Seasons Ice Age Wall Lamp) combines real candles with electric lamps as illuminants. This Jahreszeiten lamp has large, hand-cut crystal glasses as a design element. The metal structure made of iron is available in the surfaces bronze brown, gold, silver or white. A chrome finish is also offered on request. The Jahreszeiten Eiszeit wall light is approx. 51 cm wide and 31 cm high. Its depth is approx. 30 cm.
In the 18th century, the Montgolfier brothers caused a sensation with the first flight in a hot air balloon. This is how lamps with a semicircular shape in the lower segment were created at that time. The lamp series Jahreszeiten is inspired by this Montgolfier style, which gave the lamp its bulbous shape in its lower third. The symmetrical arrangement of the electric arms and forged candle holders allows the lamp a modern design language.
Note: The use of retrofit sockets (B15d) enables the use of state-of-the-art light sources in the future (halogen lamp, LED). In terms of sustainability, the lamp can continue to shine in its light for many years to come.
