The Catellani & Smith Luce che dipinge consists of a white canvas on which a movable, black light arm with lamp emits its light. The lamp is surrounded by a black lamp cover, which can be moulded. Due to the adjustable flex structure of the light arm as well as the shapeable bulb cover, always new impressive pictures can be created out of light and shade on the canvas. Enzo Catellani designed this extraordinary light object in 2002 and gave it the appropriate name of "light painting".
The Luce che dipinge has a canvas in the size 50 x 50 cm. As lamp, a replaceable, low-voltage LED with a power of 1.5 watts is delivered.
