For more than 20 years, LDM as a light design manufactory has had its headquarters in the jewelry and gold city of Pforzheim, a region with a high level of engineering art, but also home to extraordinary product and industrial design.
In this environment, an exclusive lighting manufactory beyond the usual mass production has developed. Especially in the times of "stinginess is cool", this is a clear statement for great love of detail and quality craftsmanship.
Made in Germany at LDM means that almost all parts of the production chain are made in Germany. The final assembly and quality control of all LDM products takes place at the company headquarters in Pforzheim.
What began more than 20 years ago with the production of lamps using low-voltage halogen technology is being consistently continued at LDM with a view to the future by developing lamps using the latest LED technology.
