Babadul
[Maurer, Ingo & Team]
Description
The Ingo Maurer Babadul floor lamp has a stainless steel rod and a shade made of Japanese paper. The shade is elaborately hand crafted in up to eight work transitions until it reaches its final shape. A patent procedure based on a traditional Japanese textile dyeing technique is used. Although the shades look the same, each one is unique. The Ingo Maurer Babadul can be adjusted in height between 130 cm and 160 cm. It has a built-in dimmer on the supply line: By pressing once, the light is switched on. By pressing it for a longer time, it is dimmed continuously. This floor lamp belongs to the series of MaMoNouchies that Ingo Maurer and his team have designed in collaboration with Dagmar Mombach.
