Original 1227 Lamp with Wall Bracket
[George Carwardine]
Description
The Anglepoise Original 1227 Lamp with Wall Bracket is a wall lamp with a movable articulated arm. Thanks to proven tension spring technology, the articulated arm can be readjusted again and again. Cause of this, it also retains any set position. The wall mounted lamp is given additional flexibility by the rotatable and tiltable lamp shade. Both the lamp shade and the articulated arm are made of aluminum. The wall bracket is made of cast iron. Industrial designer George Carwardine developed the tension spring technology used in this lamp back in the 1930s. Since then it has been used in numerous Anglepoise lights. The surfaces bright chrome, linen white, dove grey and jet black are available. The lamp can be connected via a cable with plug. An on/off switch is integrated on the 200 cm long textile braided cable. The wall light can be operated with LED retrofit lamps or compact fluorescent lamps. A table base in the matching surface is included in the scope of delivery.
