Original 1227 Mini Lamp with Wall Bracket
[George Carwardine]
Description
The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Lamp with Wall Bracket can be individually aligned with its articulated arm thanks to proven constant tension spring technology. As soon as the lamp is not in use, it can simply be folded against the wall. In addition to the articulated arm, the lamp shade of this lamp can also be tilted and rotated. By using the spring tension technology the wall mounted light remains stable in any set position.
The design for this wall lamp was already created in the 1930s by the industrial designer George Carwardine for the Original 1227 Desk Lamp. This desk lamp was one of the first table lamps with springs. The Original 1227 Mini Lamp with Wall Bracket is available in linen white, dove grey and jet black. The cast iron wall bracket is of the selected colour. The steel lamp shade is gloss lacquered. The textile cable is 180 cm long and has an integrated on/off switch. The wall light can be operated with LED retrofit lamps or compact fluorescent lamps. A table base in the matching surface is included in the scope of delivery.
