Theia M
[Mathias Hahn]
Description
The Marset Theia M table lamp has a lamp shade consisting of two hemispheres. One hemisphere is made of lacquered metal and is white inside. It is fixed vertically, the other horizontally, so that they partly overlap. The horizontal hemisphere is made of thermoformed smoked glass methacrylate. An LED is integrated in the centre of the shade, which emits its light onto the white inside of the vertical hemisphere. From there, the light is reflected directly into the room without glare and also through the horizontal, transparent hemisphere. The table lamp can be turned around its own axis and readjusted at any time with a handle on the light rod: either to emit light as a reading lamp or to create indirect lighting. The vertically mounted hemisphere is available in white or black from the outside. The painted metal rod and base are also in the matching surface. The Theia M can be switched and dimmed by pressing a push button dimmer on the lamp head.
