Hope Wall 48
[Paolo Rizzatto]
Description
The Luceplan Hope Wall 48 is with its diameter of 48 cm, the smaller light of two wall lights which are available in this series. It has a depth of 28.5 cm and a height of 43 cm. The light can be dimmed on site. The lamp body of the wall light consists of several pairs of arms arranged in pairs, on which a total of six Fresnel lenses are placed. The lenses break the light of the illuminant like glass and simultaneously produce a variety of reflections on the wall, ceiling and floor.
Designed by Francisco Gomez Paz and Paolo Rizzatto in 2009, the lamp and the complete series was inspired by the famous Hope Diamond. The series has been awarded with numerous prizes, including the Red Dot Design Award and the Compasso d'Oro.
