The Catellani & Smith Macchina della Luce mod. B is a pendant lamp with two discs as diffuser. The upper disc has a diameter of 80 cm, the lower one a diameter of 18 cm. Two LED boards are integrated in the bottom disc, so that the top is illuminated from it. Both discs are mounted on rods with a maximum of 145 cm with a certain distance from each other. If necessary, the rods can be cut. On request, the lamp is also offered with 300 cm long rods.
The discs of the pendant lamp are coated with gold leaf, silver leaf or copper. The versions with copper or gold leaf have the rods made in brass. In the version with silver leaf discs, the rods are nickel-plated. The canopy is nickel-plated. The pendant lamp is an LED lamp. It is on site dimmable and includes LED boards with a total power of 2 x 6 watts.
