The Anglepoise Original 1227 Brass Lamp with Wall Bracket is a wall lamp with brass elements. Both the shade cap as well as the bridle of the lamp shade and the fittings of this lamp are made of brass. The lamp shade and the lamp arms are made of aluminum. Thanks to tension spring technology, the lamp arms can be readjusted again and again. This technology ensures also that they remain in any set position. The light shade can be rotated and tilted. Industrial designer George Carwadine developed the proven tension spring technology for the first Anglepoise desk lamps. The Original 1227 Brass Lamp with Wall Bracket is available in elephant grey and jet black. In the selected surface are the lamp shade, the lamp arm as well as the wall bracket. The steel lamp shade has a glossy paint finish. The wall mounted lamp has an on/off switch on the supply line. LED retrofit or compact fluorescent lamps are suitable as light sources.
