The Lightyears Night Owl is a table lamp with an asymmetrical, oval shade and a cone-shaped base. The light is emitted directly glare-free downwards. The light is available in the surfaces white or blue. For this table lamp, the shade and base always have the same surface. In addition, the Night Owl Wood is offered, whose base is made of unlacquered ash wood.

The surfaces are designated by the manufacturer as smokey white (white) and midnight blue (blue). As an inspiration for the term midnight blue served the blue tone of the sky during twilight. The name smokey white was inspired by the light of a full moon.

The irregularly shaped shade can be placed on the base in four different positions. The black cable has an on / off switch. While the shade is made of aluminum, the base is made of lacquered ash wood and aluminum. The table lamp was designed in the year 2015 by Nicholai Wiig Hansen.
